The TABC chess team, led by Moshe Pahmer (‘15) and Solo Shulman (‘15), had an impressive season this past school year. After two very successful meets, the team had a final record of 23 wins and 3 losses. For the championship round, the team traveled to MTA to compete against Flatbush, MTA and Ramaz. They suffered an extremely intense sudden death match, but TABC pulled through, tying for first place with Ramaz at 5 wins and 2 losses. With the help of “Coach Kaplan,” the TABC chess team had a great season.
