TABC Has Three Students, One Finalist in Jerusalem Science Contest

TABC congratulates Eitan Leff ‘18, Benjy Meiner ‘19 and Eli Rifkind ‘19 for successfully completing the Jerusalem Science Contest curriculum this year. The Jerusalem Science Contest is an international competition for 11th and 12th grade Jewish high school students, interested in learning a cutting edge science topic and its Judaic relevance. Participants study selected readings and video lectures, and compete through a series of eight exams and a final project, with the opportunity to win prize money, a college scholarship or even a trip to Israel! This year’s topic was Nanotechnology.

Additionally, Benjy Meiner placed third in the country in the contest, and won trips to both Chicago next week (to present his research) and Israel in late May as his award. We wish him much success on both trips!
