Torah Academy of Bergen Country is proud to announce that Ephraim Helfgot and Michael Schwartz have been named 2020 National Merit Semifinalists. Of the over 1.6 million students who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test, only about 16,000 semifinalists throughout the nation have been recognized for their exceptional academic promise. All winners of merit scholarship awards are chosen from this group based on their abilities, skills and accomplishments, without regard to gender, race, ethnic origin or religious preference.
