TABC Juniors Lead Varsity Victory Over Ramaz Hockey

The TABC varsity hockey team recovered from a tough loss to Frisch last week, knocking off the Ramaz Rams 4-2 in front of the Storm faithful and improving to a 6-3 record. The Storm took their first lead of the game with under three and a half minutes remaining in the first period thanks to a wicked slapshot from junior Baruch Shmukler-Karpov. Ramaz was able to score the equalizer before heading into the first intermission. The Storm reclaimed their lead in the second period thanks to another slapshot from—you guessed it—Shmukler-Karpov for his second goal of the game. Junior Aaron Teitelbaum tacked on another goal for the Storm and it appeared they were on their way to victory. Ramaz cut the deficit to one off the powerplay to make it interesting in the final two minutes of the game but junior Jonah Gerson put the game to bed, scoring 21 seconds later to give the Storm the win.
