With Yeshiva League play on hold, TABC lunchtime intramurals are as popular as ever. Over the last couple of months, students have had the opportunity to participate in 2-Ball Intramurals during their grade lunch period. Once a week, teams in the grade convene during their lunch period, with two games being played per session for an eight-game regular season. After an exciting playoffs season, the ninth, 10th and 11th grade champion teams have been crowned.
Congratulations to freshman champs Jake Glick, Gavi Kilimnick and Yaakov Salamon. Kilimnick hit the winning shot from the corner to close out the championship game. Meanwhile, a dramatic scene unfolded in the 10th grade championship game as the #3 seeded duo of Avishai Avidan and Avishai Benhamu took down the #1 seeded team led by Akiva Kessler. Finally, Shlomo Dahan hit two buzzer-beating threes in the junior championship game to propel his team to victory in triple overtime.
