The Gemara in Pesachim instructs us to be shoalin b’hilchot Pesach kodem haPesach. TABC engaged in several venues of learning in order to prepare its talmidim for Pesach.
The first was a night of parent-son learning. After enjoying dinner together, students and their parents moved on to the Beit Midrash, where they prepared mekorot and heard a shiur by Rabbi Nosson Rich.
Next, once a talmid, always a talmid. Throughout the week leading up to Pesach, there were daily shiurim for alumni given by the TABC rebbeim on Pesach topics.
Finally, the last day of classes is scheduled to conclude with late night learning. Throughout the night, both current talmidim and alumni, will hear shiurim from the TABC rebbeim, culminating in a communal kumzitz. Halacha dictates that one should have the taste of the afikoman as the final taste of the seder night. The students of TABC will surely have the sweet taste of the Torah they learned remaining in their mouths throughout the Chag.
