TABC Seniors Solidify Summer Plans

There has been much discussion about the significance of the “gap year” of study in Israel. At Torah Academy of Bergen County (TABC), a year of study in Israel after graduation is not only encouraged, it is seen as an integral part of its graduates’ spiritual growth.

TABC is proud to announce that the overwhelming majority of its seniors will be learning in Israel next year. Among them, eight were admitted to Gush (Yeshivat Har Etzion), 10 into Shaalvim, nine into Yeshivat Hakotel, and four into Kerem B’Yavneh. Others will be studying at Torat Shraga, Netiv Aryeh, Mevaseret, Reishit, Lev HaTorah, Eretz Hatzvi, Orayta, Yesodei HaTorah and Aish HaTorah.

One of the leading roshei yeshiva of Kerem B’Yavneh was quoted as saying that he is “really impressed with TABC boys because of their sophisticated analytical abilities and their breadth of Torah,” which is attributable to the fact that in addition to in-depth Gemara learning, TABC students also formally study Mishneh, Chumash and Navi.

TABC looks forward to its graduates being inspired by Torat Eretz Yisrael and expanding their Torah vistas, commitment to mitzvot and love for Medinat Yisrael.
