After successfully completing the first quarter of the school year, talmidim in Rabbi Yoni Mandelstam’s 10th grade Halacha shiur enjoyed a Dunkin’ Discussion. Rabbi Mandelstam opened the floor to the students for a Q&A as they enjoyed some fresh Dunkin’ Donuts and a change in the shiur routine. The sophomores were invited to ask questions related to Halacha or hashkafa that would not ordinarily be discussed in the shiur, which covers hilchot Shabbat. The talmidim genuinely appreciated the opportunity to hear about the topics that are on their minds, and certainly deserved some Dunkin’ after many weeks of consistent, hard work. Informal education at its best!
