To gear up for their upcoming exam, 10th-grade history students at TABC dove into an unforgettable review session featuring an immersive game. This high-energy, interactive game transformed their recent learning unit into a lively and engaging experience. Key topics—ranging from the early settlement of North America and the role of religion in the colonies to interactions with Native Americans and the institution of slavery—came alive through a series of dynamic challenges. Students battled it out by answering questions and defeating their opponents in mini-games like Birdie Machine (a mini-golf challenge), a taste-test showdown (Pepsi vs. Coke and Chickies vs. Schnitzel+), a dreidel spin-off and mini-bucket ball. By gamifying history, students fostered deeper connections to the material while making learning memorable and fun.
