Ten TABC students participated in the Jewish High School Math league and the results are in. The students took a 45 minute, 15 question test on computers. The scores reflected the number of answers the student answered correctly and the amount of time they took to complete the competition. Out of 19 schools, TABC came in second, having only been only one point behind Maimonides School in Boston. Congratulations to seniors Yehoshua Kanarek, Eli Rifkind and Sammy Greenberg, junior Mikey Schwartz, sophomore Levi Langer and freshman Yakov Halstuch whose scores made up the team score. Another congratulations to Schwartz who received the third place prize of all of the students who participated.
The New Jersey Math League results for the year came out this week. TABC placed first among all New Jersey yeshiva high schools, fourth overall in Bergen County and 27th out of over 180 schools in New Jersey. Schwartz was one of only eight students in the state to earn a perfect score!
This coming Sunday, the team is off to Yale University for the MMATHS Competition, along with their coach Dassi Silverman.
