First graders at Tenafly Chabad Academy learned about the special simanim for Rosh Hashanah. They learned about the significance of the rimon, or pomegranate, even cutting one open to remove and count the seeds. The children learned that just like a rimon is filled with beautiful, shiny, sweet and juicy seeds, we are all filled with beautiful and special mitzvot. Shana tova u’metuka m’kitah alef!
