Teach NJS Visits Ben Porat Yosef

Ben Porat Yosef middle school students were addressed by representatives of Teach NJS on Tuesday, May 1. On the heels of a very successful legislative breakfast, at which a BPY contingent was present, the organization representatives spoke to the students about the importance of political advocacy, about its critical efforts to secure equitable funding for non-public schools, so that all students have the opportunity to learn, feel safe and succeed in the state of New Jersey. Students signed letters to Eliana Pintor Marin, New Jersey Assembly budget chair, and Dr. Lamont Repollet, the New Jersey acting commissioner of the Department of Education, to urge them to use their influence for the benefit of all students.
