Teaneck 9U Powers Into the Semi-Finals

This past Sunday the Teaneck 9U team entered the first round of the playoffs against Rochelle Park. Throughout the season, the team has seen contributions from every one of its members. Akiva Rotenberg, Isaac Kantowitz and Junzen Sarza have been the power arms and consistent hitters. Noah Greenspan and Noah Lowe have held down the middle of the diamond and consistently gotten on base. Jason Gamss and Abie Fields have been invaluable utility men playing multiple positions and holding their own at the plate. Michael Greenberg, Chaim Simon and Joey Jacobs have held down the outfield while being on-base machines. The team was led by coaches David Greenberg and Jeff Kantowitz.

All the work on fundamentals came through in the first round with Teaneck beating Rochelle Park 18-6. Every member of the team had a hit and the defense was excellent. The team moves on to play Paramus Wednesday night in the semi-finals (results too late for printing).
