The third grade students at TCA have been studying pop artist Peter Anton. Anton is world renowned for making sculptures of over-sized sweets such as chocolates and donuts. Using his work for inspiration, the students each made their own mixed media donut artwork. The most exciting part was that after posting photos of their work and creative process on the school Instagram account (@tcaartists) the students got a shout out from the artist himself, praising their beautiful artwork! It was amazing for the students to feel connected with the person they were studying. They were so proud!
