Students in grades six through eight had their first engineering challenge. In seventh grade, a paper boat that held 135 pennies was built. In eighth grade, the winning design held 117 pennies. Along with STEAM challenges, students will be learning digital citizenship, technology skills, research skills, computational thinking and creative multimodal projects including.
