Tenafly Chabad Academy kicked off its winter Read-A-Thon with Cuddle up and Read. For Cuddle up and Read, first to fourth graders gathered in the social hall with their books, blankets, stuffed animals and even some comfy chairs! They all snuggled up with their books (and their friends) to read together. They were then treated to hot chocolate with marshmallows!
Later in the day Mrs. Katzwer came up to middle school and treated the fifth to eighth graders to some hot chocolate with marshmallows in their classes!
This is the start of the winter Read-a-Thon. Tenafly Chabad Academy students (and teachers) keep a reading log of all the books they are reading for pleasure. Those who read the most will win prizes. Looking forward to hearing about all the books everyone is reading!
