TCA third graders celebrated a very special occasion this past week. It was their publishing party! After learning about and working through all the stages of the writing process, it was finally time to share their personal narratives with family and friends and they did so very proudly. The students put on a fabulous play about the stages of writing, which include: generating, selecting, collecting, revising, editing and publishing. The scripts for the play were written by the students themselves, using their personal experience and creativity to put together an entertaining and informative show for the audience. It was so well done! Following the play, the authors displayed their books for the guests to read and provide feedback. It was a memorable experience and TCA looks forward to seeing more fabulous writing from the third grade authors!
