With spring around the corner, the Harold Gellis, z”l, CBY Softball League and all its participants are excited for the upcoming season. Set to begin on April 11, the New Crew (A League) and the Knockouts (B League) will look to defend their championships in the 2021 campaign.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year saw a shortened season as players and towns successfully found a way to balance safety and fun. While safety remains the top priority for everyone, we expect to play a full season this year. Details are still being worked out, but we will have a 12-14 game schedule with games being played Sunday mornings at 8:00 or 10:00 a.m.

For three decades, the Harold Gellis z”l CBY Softball League has been a staple of the Teaneck community with the participation of players from every shul. In the past, the league has been open to teams only from Teaneck, Bergenfield and New Milford. Starting this year, the league is looking to expand and welcome any out-of-town teams. All players of high school age and older are welcome to participate.
