The Humble Toast Sportstar of the Week: Meir Metal

The Jewish Link and The Humble Toast would like to recognize Meir Metal as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. When asked about Meir, his rebbe, Rabbi Daniel Konigsberg told The Jewish Link: “Meir is a very happy-go-lucky boy who always has a smile on his face. He is a real chevra-man. He is beloved by his friends and would do anything for them. He has the utmost respect for his rebbeim and works to forge strong relationships with them. There’s nothing he values more than connecting and shmoozing with his rebbeim about everything in life from learning and hashkafa to wrestling and other hobbies of his. He’s diligent, committed, respectful, passionate and kind.” Another of Meir’s teachers, Jennifer Friedman added, “I am really impressed by his personal and academic growth. This is my second year as his teacher and he has really grown and came into his own this year.”
