The Jewish Agency for Israel Taps Mark Wilf As Next Board Chair

Wilf has long been involved in efforts locally, nationally and globally to ensure the welfare and vitality of the Jewish community and the State of Israel.

(Courtesy of The Jewish Agency) The Jewish Agency for Israel announced that its Leadership Nominating Committee has unanimously approved the nomination of Mark Wilf for the position of chairperson of the organization’s board of governors.

Wilf’s three-year term is slated to run through June 30, 2025.He will succeed current Board of Governors Chair Michael Siegal.

The outgoing chair of the Jewish Federations of North America’s board of trustees, Wilf serves on a variety of educational and philanthropic boards, including those of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, American Society for Yad Vashem, Anti-Defamation League, New York University School of Law, Princeton University President’s Advisory Council, Yeshiva University, and more. Wilf has long been involved in efforts locally, nationally and globally to ensure the welfare and vitality of the Jewish community and the State of Israel.

The nomination of Wilf as the next chairperson will be submitted for election by the board of governors at the opening plenary session of the Jewish Agency’s upcoming board of governors meeting in July.

The Jewish Agency expresses that it is fortunate and excited to have Wilf as its next chairperson. The organization is confident that Wilf’s inspiring commitment, leadership and vision will serve the common goals of the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
