The children of The Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School enjoyed playing in the snow after the big storm. Some of the classes brought the snow inside, while others dressed for winter and played outside in the snow. The children used spray bottles and colored water to spray the white snow different colors and made designs. The younger children took turns riding on a sled. It was fun to see how sand toys could be used for snow as well. The children observed how the snow melts when it is brought inside and then refreezes when it is put outside in the cold. The students also did some water cycle experiments and were excited to celebrate the first day of winter.
