Starting with careers in nursing and healthcare IT, and extensive volunteering for schools, synagogues and community non-profits such as The Girls Scouts, The ARC, Shearit Ha Plate Food Rescue and most recently #OperationVaccinateTeaneckSeniors, the through line has always been helping people and problem solving. Valerie was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and is a proud graduate of Rutgers Nursing as well as the University of Maryland’s Nursing Informatics Program. Her interest in real estate began in the late ’90s when she met her mother-in-law to-be, Rita Levin, currently an agent with Goldstar Realty. Valerie began to see parallels in her previous work as a bedside nurse and creating electronic documentation systems for hospitals. It is about building relationships, listening and helping others to achieve their goals. She is passionate about real estate and housing, whether it is a modest studio apartment rental or something a little larger. Valerie believes in helping people find the right home, at the right time, in the right location and at the right price.

Valerie and her husband, Miles, have been Teaneck residents for 15 years. Their oldest children, twins Rami and Gittel, are currently in Israel studying at Yeshivat Migdal HaTorah and Nishmat, respectively. Their other children, Moshe and Rosalie, are in 11th and 10th grade at Frisch. Valerie is an ardently proud member of her synagogue, Congregation Arzei Darom, where Miles is president. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys watching movies while puffing away on the elliptical, or listening to a wide variety of podcasts. You can usually find Valerie at Shoprite in Paramus or Cedar Market as she counts food shopping as a way to relax.
