Chava Casper (“Do Not Ignore Trump’s Misdeeds,” September 24, 2020) fails to acknowledge that unlike the fringe anti-Semitism from the far right, within the Democratic Party anti-Semistim is mainstream. You won’t find the likes of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the Republican ticket. Of the 17 congresspeople voting against condemnation of BDS, 16 were Democrats.

Her criticism of our president’s response to Covid is also misplaced. President Trump mobilized federal resources, ensuring there was never a shortage of ventilators or ICU beds at any point. It’s a shame how our own community fails to recognize the good our president has done, and would rather focus on his rhetoric than his actions.
