Dear Shayna,
I am so upset. This year we will not be having Thanksgiving with my grandparents and cousin like usual. Because of coronavirus we will be having Thanksgiving dinner with my parents and siblings only. Worse than that is that none of them likes turkey so I’m not sure we will even have a turkey this year. How can I be festive without the holiday bird?
Sincerely,
Disappointed Daniel
Dear Disappointed Daniel,
This year is tough, but when life gives you lemons make lemonade. Now you can spend Thanksgiving dinner with the family that’s in your house. It’ll be a fun new experience. You don’t need turkey for Thanksgiving. You can have chicken and you don’t even need that. You just need to give thanks! Don’t think poor you, think poor chicken.
Best of luck,
Shayna B.
