The JEC choir was one of the many highlights at the Yom Hazikaron service and the Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration, both held at the Union Y on May 2. As part of the Yom Hazikaron service, Danielle Perlmutter, community shlicha and coordinator of the event, constructed a Wall of Remembrance for the fallen soldiers and terror victims in Israel. During the Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration, the Y Studs entertained the attendees.
