The YM-YWHA of Union County (the “Union Y”) will be hosting the “Grogger Gallop” 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, March 13, at 10 a.m. The event, which will include the option to race competitively as well as to walk leisurely (strollers welcome!), will kick off at 10 a.m. at the campus of the Union Y, located at 501 Green Lane in Union, New Jersey. Also starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until noon inside the Union Y will be a Purim carnival geared toward younger children. The proceeds of the race will provide scholarships to the Union Y summer camp for families in need and will also support cultural, fitness and educational programming at the Y.
