Valley Chabad Names Jocelyn Inglis as Development Director

(Courtesy of Valley Chabad) Jocelyn Inglis has been named Valley Chabad’s capital campaign and development director. This new position will enable Valley Chabad to continue its momentum to create a new space of outreach, education and community building.

Rabbi Dov Drizin, director of Valley Chabad, is excited to welcome Inglis to the growing Valley Chabad team. “Jocelyn brings to the table a well-balanced combination of community engagement and fundraising success. She has a love for Jewish life and is a natural when it comes to connecting with people. With Jocelyn heading up the Valley Chabad development office, the number of engaged donors will be on the rise, which will in turn expand the reach and impact of Valley Chabad.”

Jocelyn joins Valley Chabad after working for Yad Leah as its director of development. Before that, Inglis worked for Jewish Theological Seminary and Jewish National Fund.

“This exciting challenge comes at a very pivotal time for the Jewish community and greater community as the pandemic has redefined the meaning and importance of how people come together to connect, learn and create meaning,” said Inglis. This position is a great opportunity to engage people to help build a new space for the future of the Jewish community in the Pascack Valley and Saddle River communities.

Inglis earned her MSW and Certificate in Jewish Communal Service from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. She lives in Bergenfield with her husband and two children and is active at Temple Emeth in Teaneck and in a number of community activities.
