Waltuch Gallery at the Kaplen JCC Presents Faithspace USA

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Waltuch Art Gallery, located at 411 E. Clinton Avenue in Tenafly, presents “Images on Canvas: Stories of Worship and Interfaith Tolerance,” a unique photography exhibition organized in Burma (Myanmar) and presented by Faithspace USA. The show will be on display through October 30.

The vision behind this pop-up exhibition is to offer thought-provoking images as a means to stimulate reflection. Conceived as a vehicle to greater self-awareness and social consciousness, “Stories of Worship and Interfaith Tolerance” is a visual journey that is successfully promoting discussion, fostering understanding and building harmony in its viewers. The central theme is to show how, in a diverse society, people can live together, help one another and celebrate the differences that make for a strong society.

The show is free and open to the public.

The Waltuch Art Gallery is a community space that exhibits thematically Jewish artwork, or art produced by Jewish artists. All gallery exhibits and receptions are free and open to the community; JCC membership is not required. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Saturday and Jewish holidays.
