WTA Celebrates Shabbat Together

WTA seventh and eighth grade students had the opportunity to spend a memorable and meaningful Shabbat together last weekend in the White Plains community, joined by many of their teachers and administrators. In the days leading up to the shabbaton, the students were actively involved in preparing for the weekend, working together on a variety of tasks such as creating Shabbat-o-grams, crafting beautiful centerpieces, writing thoughtful divrei Torah and even baking fresh challah. The weekend also included a communal lunch shared with the WTA/White Plains families, where students, parents and faculty came together for a warm and meaningful meal. Throughout the weekend, everyone enjoyed delicious food, engaged in singing zemirot and cherished the time spent together. It was truly a special Shabbat for all.
