In celebration of Thanksgiving, the students of WTA took part in a meaningful exploration of gratitude. Throughout the week, students engaged in various activities designed to deepen their understanding of thankfulness. In an early childhood program, they embraced the spirit of the season by preparing delicious apple cake and pumpkin muffins, which they shared during their festive Thanksgiving feast.

As they moved into the lower school and middle school, focus shifted to the concept of hakarat hatov, appreciating the good in their lives. Students reflected on the many blessings that they are fortunate to have, discussing the countless opportunities for gratitude. Some of the most common expressions of thankfulness included their parents, families, friends, nourishment, education, homes and, of course, Hashem.
