WTA Students Head to Boston

Last week, seventh and eighth graders at WTA enjoyed a fun and educational overnight trip to Boston! Everyone arrived at school bright and early Monday morning for tefillah and breakfast, and then headed off for a long drive to Boston. The trip began with a picnic lunch at Boston Commons and students then headed to their first activity, the Boston Tea Party Museum. They learned about the history of the Tea Party and experienced a reenactment of a town meeting. They even got to throw tea overboard! The next stop was a tour of Fenway Park including the press box and sitting on top of the Green Monster, which were definitely the highlights! The night continued with dinner at a local restaurant and an energetic game of mini-golf.

On Tuesday students enjoyed the New England Aquarium. The stingrays were a favorite! They then went to Quincy Market and enjoyed the famous Duck Tours of Boston. The trip ended with a surprise trip to J.P. Licks ice cream shop! On the way home, everyone ate dinner at a park in Connecticut. The days were filled with activity and everyone had an amazing time.
