(Courtesy of Yachad NJ) This past Saturday evening, January 6, the community came out to support Yachad New Jersey. The annual gala is Yachad’s main fundraiser of the year, financing the organization’s critical support activities and programs. With over 400 people in attendance, the program paid tribute to Rena Soclof (Women’s Leadership Award), Rabbi Andrew and Racheli Israeli (Young Leadership/Alumni Award) and The Adler Family (Yachad Family Award).

The gala officially launched the new George Weinberger Music Studio & Appreciation Program, gifted to Yachad by Ronit and Dan Rubinoff in memory of Ronit’s uncle. George, z”l, had a developmental disability and lived during a time when organizations like Yachad did not exist.
