Yad Leah Welcomes Jocelyn Inglis as Director of Development

(Courtesy of Yad Leah) Yad Leah is proud to welcome Jocelyn Inglis as its director of development. Inglis’ role is a newly created position, which will enable Yad Leah to raise awareness and much-needed funds to continue growing their presence in the U.S. and more importantly in Israel. Inglis looks forward to taking Yad Leah to the next level, enabling the needy across Israel to obtain basic clothing essentials. Inglis will also be developing more engaging and educational volunteer opportunities for individuals and families. She joins Yad Leah after spending time working for The Jewish Theological Seminary as their Major Gifts Officer and prior to that for the Jewish National Fund.

“I am so excited to be taking on this challenge and look forward to the amazing work that we will be able to accomplish moving forward. Israel has always held a special place in my heart, and to be able to impact so many communities through the work of Yad Leah will be so meaningful,” says Inglis. “I’m looking forward to working with the staff of Yad Leah here and in Israel and to build on the amazing foundation that has already been created.”

Inglis’ connection to Israel began when she spent her junior year of college studying at Hebrew Union College, while living and working on Kibbutz Tzora, near Bet Shemesh. Inglis obtained her MSW and Certificate in Jewish Communal Service from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University.

Inglis is a member of Temple Emeth and serves as treasurer of Bergenfield United Soccer Club and on the Bergenfield High School Class of 2020 Project Graduation Committee. She lives with her husband, Trevor, and children, Jacob and Abigail, in Bergenfield, New Jersey.
