It was a beautiful and meaningful day for families of Yavneh Academy who proudly marched in the Israel Day on 5th Parade. Wearing red shirts that honored the theme of the parade, “One People, One Heart,” Yavneh students and parents put on a powerful display of Jewish pride and unity, fiercely waving Israeli and American flags, along with posters of the hostages. Banners with yellow ribbons and the words “Release Them Now,” both in Hebrew and English, could be seen flying high amid the Yavneh delegation.

Though this year’s parade was far more subdued out of respect for the situation in Israel, the record turnout was nothing short of spectacular and Yavneh Academy was proud and honored to stand with them.
