The Yavneh Academy Chesed Team had an incredible Lag B’Omer barbecue, campfire and kumzitz with Yachad. The evening began with a kumzitz led by Dovid Pearlman. Yavneh students and Yachad members sang along arm in arm. A highlight was when some of the Yachad members took the mic and performed themselves. After a dvar Torah by a Yachad member and adviser, students then had a barbecue. Attendees then roasted marshmallows in a fire pit, and ate Rita’s ices for dessert. Yavneh Academy was so honored to join Yachad in celebrating Lag B’Omer in a meaningful way.
