Yeshivat Chovevei Torah invites the entire community to an evening of Torah study in solidarity with Ukraine this Sunday, March 13, at 8 p.m. This Zoom program will feature Professor Susannah Heschel of Dartmouth College, Rabbi Ysoscher Katz of YCT, and Rabbi David Ma’ayan of Boston College. Each scholar will deliver a 25-minute presentation on a topic related to the Torah of Ukraine of yesteryear, including the work of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav, Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel (the Apter Rav) and others. With over 20 partner institutions bringing participants from around the globe, this program promises to be a special Kiddush Hashem, showing the world that the Jewish community stands with those who are in harm’s way.
