After their first successful Big Brother/Big Sister activity during Chanukah, kindergarten and fifth grade students happily engaged in a joint Tu B’Shevat celebration. The students enjoyed learning about the holiday, reading a story about different trees, coloring the trees to match the different seasons and sorting which animals belonged on and off of the trees. A lot of laughter could be heard and smiling faces could be seen throughout the classrooms from all involved. All the students are looking forward to the next time the two ages come together.
