On November 29, 1947, the UN passed a resolution which partitioned the land of Israel. This led the way for the creation of the State of Israel. He’Atid sixth grade students and teachers conducted a middle school assembly during which they discussed the details concerning this important day and created illustrative presentations depicting the partition. During the week of Thanksgiving, it was particularly meaningful to recognize Hashem’s miracles and to be thankful for them.
