The Yeshivat He’Atid (YH) middle school students participated in a core values assembly. During this time, they explored the YH School core values and the importance of integrating these values into their daily lives. The students learned about Rio Woolf, a young paralympic athlete who has overcome significant obstacles by applying similar core values within his own life. The students then collaborated on an exercise to identify behavioral expectations that match each Yeshivat He’Atid core value. The students were thoughtful and insightful with their contributions. This assembly allowed the students to play an active role in the process of setting up a structure for this year’s middle school behavior expectations.
