Yeshivat He’Atid second graders completed this month’s Book Club on fantasy books! Each child in the class selected a fantasy book to read. They then worked on creating story boxes that reflected their story. On one side of the box, the students wrote the book’s title, author,= and illustrator. On the other sides of the box, they drew the main characters, a summary of the story, the primary setting, a drawing of the favorite scene and on the last side, they wrote a book review. Book Club at Yeshivat He’Atid is a great way to foster a love of literature while also allowing students to be creative and have fun with reading!
