Last week was a monumental day for Israel, and Yeshivat He’Atid (YH) students were able to experience it first-hand! Jay Haberman, the senior development director of New York AIPAC, spoke to the fifth through eighth grade students via Zoom about the Abraham Accords, which were historically signed at the White House on September 15. The students learned about the partnership between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain and the positive impact of peace agreements on Israel’s economy. The students were then able to watch the live stream of the signing. Mr. Haberman is a proud YH parent, and Yeshivat He’atid was very thankful to participate in this historical event.
