This week Yeshivat He’Atid had a special visit from The Model Matzah Bakery!
Our students got to make their very own matzahs. First, they learned about the two ingredients used to create the matzah; flour and water. Next, our students worked quickly because once the ingredients are mixed, they only had 18 minutes to get those matzahs into the oven and baked!
Our students had tons of fun rolling out the dough and pricking it with holes so that air could escape and the matzah would not rise.
We learned so much from the Model Matzah Bakery, and the matzahs were so fresh and delicious… well, as fresh as matzah could taste.
