The fifth grade students were tasked with researching different European explorers. The unit concluded with the students presenting a large-scale drawing of their explorer with pertinent facts about his life displayed in a slide show. It was so nice to see the collaboration between the students in creating the slide shows and putting the finishing touches on the portraits.
