In conjunction with Health Week at Yeshivat Noam, grades 3-5 participated in a grade-wide “Bracha Bee” to emphasize the importance and beauty of saying blessings (brachot) when they eat. To build on the foundation learned in the curriculum, the students studied a packet listing all the brachos Jews say before and after eating in order to express appreciation to Hashem. Twelve finalists competed in front of all three grades and showed off their knowledge of the brachot. Special congratulations to Binyamin Fox, grade 5, who also won last year and Mia Rabin who is in third grade and was the first runner-up.
