Yeshivat Noam Competes At Noameinu

The gymnasium was full of laughter as the students tried to determine who was hiding in the costumes on Friday? Was Rabbi Hagler Pete the Cat or the Noam Knight? The laughter led to cheers as the comedy broke out Noameinu 2024 in grades one through five. All Noameinu activities took place on Shushan Purim!

Noameinu is a combination of Noam and ameinu (our nation) expressing the connection to our people even while engaged in a fun competition.

Team names for Noameinu were Oz, Shalom, Emunah and Tikvah however the overall theme was achdut. Activities focused on important aspects of life, but also had team building activities to reinforce the idea of achdut. Highlights included learning, letter writing and other challenges all in the zchut of our brothers and sisters in Israel. Every student participated in a project mitzvah, where they made matzah covers to send to displaced families or chayalim for Pesach. The memorable day ended with a closing ceremony including singing and dancing to reinforce the themes of the day.
