Yeshivat Noam Holds Successful Golf Outing

(Courtesy of Yeshivat Noam) Yeshivat Noam hosted a sold-out summer outing this week with 120 golfers and over 30 women in attendance. The outing, chaired by parent volunteers Noam Insler, Shlomo Hagler, Akiva Romanoff and Ross Rothenberg, was a fun day of golf and socializing at the beautiful Montammy Golf Club in Alpine. The guests all raved about the outing swag, which included coolers from The Rothenberg Law Firm, Nike hats sponsored by Jacob Solomon and Associates, designer vests with the event logos and golf balls sponsored by Genie Energy.

Womens’ activities, chaired by Dahlia Goldbrenner, Ronit Hagler and Elissa Seltzer, included yoga with Dasi Jacob and a hands-on graffiti art class. Women had the opportunity to create their own artistic canvas as well as work collaboratively on a Yeshivat Noam graffiti banner.

Throughout the day the participants enjoyed delicious meals including omelets for breakfast, a barbecue for lunch and sushi for dinner by Madison Caterers. One of the many highlights of the day included a celebrity guest, Jonathan Gellis, Yeshivat Noam Summer Golf Outing Event founder. Gellis, who had made aliyah, made a special effort to attend, win the tournament with his foursome, and support Yeshivat Noam.

The day concluded with lots of smiles as raffle names were announced and prizes were distributed. According to Amy Vogel, director of development and communications, “The Yeshivat Noam Summer Outing is an important fundraiser to support the Yeshivat Noam Scholarship Fund, and it was very successful thanks to the generosity of the players and sponsors.”
