Yeshivat Noam kindergarten students use the Fundations® curriculum to learn early literacy skills. Fundations® utilizes a structured literacy approach grounded in the science of reading to make learning to read fun while laying the groundwork for lifelong literacy. Students use a multi-sensory approach which integrates gross and fine motor skills to learn the formation of each letter. Each letter is taught with a corresponding picture to allow for a visual cue which assists in recalling the sound of that letter for emerging readers.
