Yeshivat Noam Students Compete in Spelling Bee

Can you spell indecipherable, ancestors or contingent? Yeshivat Noam competed class by class in grades five through eight to make the Spelling Bee finals.

On Tuesday, January 11, the students competed in the Yeshivat Noam Spelling Bee finals! Yeshivat Noam is so proud of all the students for studying and working so hard to prepare for this event. The finalists are: (l-r) Andrew Loskove (eighth), Gavriel Saks (eighth), Devorala Fogel (eighth), Mordy Major (seventh grade) and Leora Wasserman (sixth grade). Devorala will go on to represent Yeshivat Noam in the Northern New Jersey Scripps Spelling Bee! An extraordinary fact about Devorala is that Yiddish is her first language and remains the primary language her family speaks at home! Yasher koach Devorala!
