To mark the shloshim of October 7, Yeshivat Noam middle school students gathered to daven for peace and say Tehillim for the hostages. Eighth drader Gavriel Katz, took a leadership role to launch a new initiative for the students: “Yeshivat Noam U-Knights 4 Israel.” Gavriel shared his love of Israel and a presentation about his recent trip to the south during Sukkot. Each student was given the name of chayal to concentrate on when davening and asked to take upon themselves a new mitzvah in honor of that chayal.
