This Chanukah, Yeshivat Shalshelet engaged in activities designed to shine a light in the darkness.

Through the partnership with the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades students lit two chanukiot. One of their community here and one for the hostages held in Gaza and others who are unable to light their own this Chanukah.

Shalshelet students also crafted and hosted a cardboard Chanukah carnival for the JCC Early Childhood Center. They also celebrated with glow day, ice skating, a talent show and made sfinge (Moroccan doughnuts!).
